The beauty of Barangaroo

At Barangaroo, a former container port is being transformed into magnificent waterfront parklands and one of the world's greenest business, residential and leisure destinations.

Construction is expected to commence soon and early stages to be completed in early 2014.

Barangaroo is 22 hectares of State Government land which is being developed by the Barangaroo Delivery Authority. Lend Lease was selected in December 2009 as the developer for Barangaroo South by the Authority on behalf of the NSW Government. This followed a competitive bidding process involving world class architects and developers.

Payments the Authority receives for the development of Barangaroo South will enable it to fund the development of Barangaroo's two other areas, the Headland Park and Barangaroo Central, at no cost to NSW taxpayers.
